Torsion Springs

A spring whose dimension, in the direction of the applied load, increases under the action of that load.  Our spring production capabilities range from 0.2 - 12.5 mm diameter wires spring O/D auto 1 - 60 mm hand  up to 150 mm diameter.

Used primarily in rotary applications such as switches, closers on flaps & hatches etc. Modern CNC machines allow very sopisticated shapes, & forms to be incorperated into the design allowing for smaller neater end products. Often used to give a torque as well as a load application with the addition of pitches between coils.Offered in various materials to suite the environment the spring will operate in such as sea water, High or Low temperature, & contact chemicals.
