What Are Spring Clips?
Spring clips are components designed to snap into place and hold parts under tension or pressure. They are used to secure, retain or locate components in mechanical systems, often replacing more complex fastening mechanisms.
Retaining Clips are also commonly referred to as Snap rings, Circlips, Split rings, Spiral retaining rings, Wave rings and other types. At Springtech we manufacture many different size retaining & Snap rings supporting a wide variety of industrial applications including mechanical seals and sealing systems. Springtech’s retaining rings prevent fluid leaks, extend cylinder life, minimise friction and energy consumption and improve actuator positioning accuracy.
Mechanical seals use a wide variety of spring component products, whether coiled springs, retaining rings, snap rings, wave springs, finger springs, zig zag springs or circlips.
