Transistor Retaining Springs / Retaining Clips / Spring Clips

Our standard range of Transistor Retaining Clips, are used worldwide in various domestic appliances ranging from Irons to Washing Machines.

The clips are designed to securely fasten heat generating electronic components to heat dissipating materials such as aluminium at component level.

Our range of clips is growing to suite wider applications & we are able to adapt our standard range to suite individual requirements via interchangeable tooling.

Typical uses = spring clips offer a low cost and fast way of mounting transistors. Contact is made with the middle of the transistor which provides an even pressure and good thermal contact. These clips allow transistors to operate at higher voltages. Springtech specialise in the design, development, manufacture and distribution of a wide variety of springs, pressings and fasteners.
