Wireforms

Our wireforming capabilities range from 0.2 - 2.0 mm diameter wire using automatic wireforming equipment and  up to 6.00 mm hand coiled / formed.

Commonly used as retainers in the form of clips, or pins, shaped to allow insertion & removal as well as retaining parts to shafts / rods in the form of "R" shaped clips inserted into holes after assembly of wheels or pullys. Some are used as simple beams offering a return force when bent or twisted. Modern CNC machines allow very sopisticated shapes, & forms to be incorperated into the design allowing for smaller neater end products. Offered in various materials to suite the environment the spring will operate in such as sea water, High or Low temperature, & contact chemicals.
