Assembly

Sub-assembly operations
Manual and automatic sub-assembly operations cater for a variety of light electrical and mechanical work.  Springtech assembly lines are designed to facilitate simple component assembly to more sophisticated fully automated assembly operations.

Comprehensive, flexible services
Springtech creates finished items ready for the packaging process including diving fasteners, enclosures, latches, various mobility devices, fittings, fastenings and many more.

Springtech goods assembled with third party brands
Springtech will undertake the assembly work necessary to make your life easier – even with components manufactured by a third party.  Just ship the components and Springtech will do the rest.

Subcontract finishing
Springtech works in partnership with selected specialist subcontractors who provide a range of niche finishing services.  We are also happy to work with our customer’s subcontractors when specialist services - such as NADCAP heat treatment services for the Aerospace and related industries - are required.

Finishing Services
We carry out zinc plating – probably the most commonly applied anti-corrosive finish - for various deposit thicknesses; bright or dull; with clear or coloured passivation to increase salt spray resistance.

Specialist finishing
Springtech is also experienced at working with nickel, brass, copper and tin.  These metals are employed individually, or in combination with other materials dependant on the substrate, desired appearance, electrical conductivity and/or corrosion applications.

Rhodium, gold and silver are also employed for critical electrical applications. MolyKote anti-friction coatings can also be applied.

At Springtech we also offer various paint finishes such as delt seal – delta tone for automotive applications requiring high salt spray resistance and electrostatic paint finishes, which give improved appearance and enhanced protection.
